RageTracks: How was your first year on tour? Is it anything like you expected?
Revolvr: It was definitely a lot more than I expected it as going to be. It definitely was a great first year for being my first year and I can only imagine what it’s going to be like in 2013.

RageTracks: You mentioned online that you’ve changed after seeing “Burning Man”, is it cool seeing the perspective changing from seeing a music festival, going behind the scenes, and then performing in front of a crowd?
Revolvr:Yea, it’s definitely a cool change of perspective to be on the other side! I’ve done it before, I’ve played here and there, but it definitely is on a much larger scale this year as far as Revolver and it’s definitely a cool change.

RageTracks: What is the hardest obstacle you faced so far?
Revolvr: So far, the biggest obstacle we’ve faced has been getting street cred ya know? Just building ourselves and getting everything all there be it image/branding/ our music. At first we were having some trouble booking shows but then we teamed up with our Agency and it’s been comin together! Trevor and Audible Music Group have helped us out a ton with getting our tunes heard!

RageTracks: What is it like living and being a Dj in Las Vegas?
Revolvr: Well, actually I don’t DJ in Vegas. I am just based out of Vegas. A lot of people get the misconception that I play and live here but I live because I like Vegas for what it is, and like living close to the airport and stuff like that. I was going to move to LA, but I’m not the type of person that can deal with traffic, and having to travel to the airport every weekend for work, LA came very un-appealing to me.

RageTracks: Do you have any bookings in the future in Chicago?!
Revolvr: Yea, I think they have me booked a couple of months from now at THE MID.

RageTracks:Do you think EDM is becoming too corporate?
Revolvr: I feel it has its directions pushing in different ways, but as long as we keep trying to stand forward for the integrity of it, then im willing to fight for it.

RageTracks: Do you have any rituals before you go on stage?
Revolvr: Just Drink A lot!! (laughter)…No I don’t have any rituals. I don’t get nervous, I actually get pretty excited.

RageTracks: We love your intro to “Knife Party’s” Internet Friends. It’s really funny and we wanted to know how you came up with it?
Revolvr: Originally I was creating the intro for it, and when I began the new project, I wanted to make something because it’s so hard to mix that intro in and next thing you know one step led to another and I created it. I didn’t think it would blow up like it did.
